Some Brisbane motorway options include tolls, and rental vehicles usually have a toll process attached, so read your hire paperwork before you test the system with blind optimism.

On the Gold Coast, watch height clearance like a hawk. Many campervans sit around 2.6–3.3 m high, and a proper motorhome can be taller again. Underground shopping-centre car parks, apartment basements and beachfront height bars are not places to learn your vehicle dimensions.
