Sea Cliff Bridge is the postcard bit, but it is not a place to improvise a campervan stop. Shoulders are narrow, parking is limited and pedestrians appear in surprising places. Use marked parking around Clifton or Coalcliff if available, then walk back if you want the view without blocking half the Illawarra.

The comfortable play is simple: book a powered or unpowered site for the first night around Wollongong, Bulli, Coledale or Corrimal, then use a proper Sydney holiday park base at Lane Cove or Narrabeen.
